River Stingray
Size:Can range between 14 inches and 3 feet in diameter.
Habitat:Rivers, streams, and other flowing waters throught South America.
Diet:Worms, crustaceans, and small fish.

Like all stingrays, the freshwater stingrays of the Amazon have venomous barbs on their tails. It is said that the natives of South America fear stingrays more than they do Piranhas.
