Side-Necked Turtle
Size:Can measure up to 36 inches.
Habitat:Can be found in lakes, stagnant pools, marshes, and swamps with muddy bottoms throughout most of South America.
Diet:Small fish.
Take the bait!
These turtles can attract fish with two worm like extensions under the mouth. When hungry fish come close to investigate, the turtle lunge their long necks out and snap up the fish.
