Education at The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium

The educational mission of The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium is to provide unique learning environments for learners of all ages to encourage an ongoing discovery of the Earth’s diverse, yet fragile ecosystems.

The primary goal of all our educational programs is to get students excited about science!

For school groups we currently offer a Utah Waters Van outreach program, a Rainforest Van outreach program, on-site EcoVenture Classes and Group Visits to the aquarium. We also facilitate a teacher professional development program, Utah’s Unique Environments.

For the public we have a variety of programs that occur each day at the aquarium such as engaging and informative talks spotlighting animals at the aquarium, touching the stingrays, watching and learning as our staff feeds animals, interacting with invertebrates at the Bio-Facts Station, and participating in activities on special days throughout the year.

There is something for everyone to explore, discover and learn at The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium!
