35 teachers attended the Utah's Unique Environments workshop at Pinnacle Canyon Academy in Price, Utah on October 23, 2014. The teachers did a great job collecting bugs, counting tree rings, and observing water circulation at the workshop. We thank Pinnacle Canyon Academy for hosting the event.

 

August 5 St. George Workshop

33 teachers attended the Utah's Unique Environments workshop at George Washington Academy in St. George on August 5th, 2014. For many 5th grade teachers it was a full day as they took advantage of the morning's workshop with Discovery Gateway before attending the afternoon session. We thank George Washington Academy for their hospitality in hosting the event.

Next Workshop: August 5 in St. George

The next workshop will be Tuesday, August 5 at George Washington Academy in St. George from 1 pm to 4 pm. It will be a "Utah's Unique Environments" workshop in conjunction with other workshops that day from HawkWatch and Discovery Gateway. This workshop has been expanded to include Secondary science teachers as well as Elementary teachers. Every teacher in attendance will get a free science materials kit and snacks will be provided.
