Exhibit Interpreter

The Exhibit Interpreter will be responsible for assisting guest services and education in several areas of the LLPA including: preparing the aquarium for opening, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and grounds, assisting with guest information, assisting with crowd control in high traffic areas, and answering basic questions on the various LLPA exhibits. All Volunteers accepted into the Adult Volunteer Program begin as an Exhibit Interpreter.


An applicant must be at least 14 years of age, and currently enrolled in the 9th grade or higher. The Exhibit Interpreter must be able to attend all mandatory trainings related to the position. The Exhibit Interpreter must also commit to either one full day shift (approximately 9 hours) or two half day shifts (approximately 4.5 hours) per month as designated by the Volunteer Service Manager for a minimum of six months.
