Maintenance and Repair Specialist

The Maintenance and Repair Specialist is responsible for assisting the LLPA Building and Maintenance team in regular  of the building and grounds. Daily responsibilities include maintenance and care of the surrounding flower beds, plumbing assistance, exhibit repair, and other duties assigned by the Facilities Manager.


The applicant must be at least 16 years of age, and currently enrolled as a sophomore in high school or higher. Prior to being allowed access to designated machinery, the Maintenance and Repair Specialist must complete a safety evaluation by the Facilities Manager. The Maintenance and Repair Specialist must commit one full day shift or two half day shifts per month as designated by the Volunteer Services Manager for a minimum of one year.
